📄️ Add Litters
There are two ways to access the Add Litter form. The first is from the litter table:
📄️ View Litters
When breading mice, it is important to keep track of things like how many litters a female already had, when she had her last litter, or which pups were part of a particular litter. The litter view provides all this information. As with the mouse view, you can filter by column.
📄️ Edit Litters
A typical use case for editing a litter would be if you initially entered a neonatal or unweaned litter and now would like to wean those pups. Another one might be when pups die or must be sacrificed. You could filter the mouse table by mother and birth date to find the pups of that litter and use the multi edit form to update them. However, the Edit Litter form provides an easier way to achieve this. As with the Add Litter form, its input fields depend on the type of litter (weaned, unweaned, or neonatal).
📄️ Breeding Dates
This section explains which dates are tracked relevant to breedng and how some are updated automatically.
